BEWARE USPS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING The Holly Springs Post Office and other USPS sites offer guaranteed shipping at the sales counter. They do not, however, explain that the "guarantee" does not ensure your package actually gets to its destination. I've sent three international packages and been given various excuses as to why USPS "GUARANTEED" delivery CAN NOT be refunded by the Post Office and why a third party vendor must be contacted for lost/stolen packages. It would have been helpful had the explained at the start that they only process and collect fees for a third party vendor they have contracted with for the service and that they offer no customer service post-payment. Buy stamps, send letters with added services (registered/confirmation delivery etc), but I strongly suggest using FEDEX or UPS for international shipping, so you can actually follow up or make claims for lost/stolen packages.

Never had a problem with other post offices before. But today I drove through HS for my work and stopped at 112 3rd str. post office around 1 p.m . The clerk(blond lady) didn't accept my package because " it was too cold and has to be a room temperature ". I looked up for a post office rules and found nothing about " particular temperature for a mail package". I speak with an accent and that blond lady made a pickled face when I talked to her. I drove to Cary post office and sent my package in there without any problems. I will never go to HS post office again. Thanks to your "lovely" clerk

Don't stop here after hours like you can at other post offices, they can't take any boxes bigger than a small flat rate box without being open. Is this 1998?
