I give this place one star because I usually have a pleasant experience. HOWEVER, I waited for an hour for my appointment for passport photos. I was there half an hour early and waited a half an hour after my appointment was scheduled BECAUSE THE MAN HELPING WITH PASSPORTS ran late. I didnt get an apology. I am incredibly polite to postal workers because it is probably more of a negative job experience then positive. This man was incredibly rude to me. As he was going through my paperwork, as he discarded sheets, he quickly pushed them back at me and they almost slid off the counter. He gave me a hard time with me when I wanted to turn in my old passport and then had the audacity to tell me he was trying to be “considerate” of me...b*******. When it came time to pay I went to give him my credit card and he said I needed to have a check or a debit card. I said I had neither and he said “you’re out of luck, next.” UNACCEPTABLE treatment. I have observed this man be rude to multiple customers and it is unnecessary. I will never be back. This is the worst post office I have EVER been to. Be better, Aspen. Be better.

These people are the absolute worst. I dread ordering anything because these people can't do their only job. On average I'd say 3 out of 5 packages get lost. When you try to call or wait in line for hours to try and get some direction on how it is even possible for a living, breathing, human to be so horrible at their single job of placing a box at the correct location, you receive excuses and almost a passive aggressive response along the lines of "How would I know where your package is at? There are tons of packages here. It could be on the cart for delivery or it could be here, how would I know??" Well sir, you seem to be wearing a usps shirt and you are standing behind the counter at customer service... but I guess it is just too much to ask. Soon you will be replaced by robots and you can finally crawl into a hole and do absolutely nothing for the rest of your eventful life. Can't wait.

Very long wait time. The service is super slow as the office is always understaffed, especially between 12pm and 1pm. USPS cannot keep up with the competition and dealing with it has to be avoided at all cost. Buy stamps from City Market, ship with alternative carriers.

Aweful service. R. J. Was extremely rude I’m package was lost twice within 24 hours over 2 hours of my time waisted!

The USPS (in general, but here specifically) is utterly useless and incompetent. Their only competency lies in the ability to provide bad customer service and to be as unhelpful as possible. They cannot deliver (who knows why?) to my apartment so when I saw that my package was coming via USPS, and not a professional service, I called them immediately and kindly asked that they hold onto the package and place it in my PO Box. The woman kindly replied, "no problem." I called the next day and was told that this was not done and the package will be back at night when the delivery truck returns. I was told to come in first thing today to get my package. Upon arrival, the "public servant" at the desk told me that my package cannot be found because there are "literally like 100 packages in the back, sorry." INCREDIBLE!
