I want to say how very much I appreciate the diligent efforts of Shani at the Hilton Head post office on Bow Circle. She was extremely helpful in getting a package for me. I addressed it wrong and she personally kept the package from being delivered to the wrong address. She was so polite on the phone and called me back twice. Her personality is delightful and attitude refreshing.. She is a real asset to the postal system. Shani - Thank you!

RUDE! Fine at the counter but rude on delivery. Mailbox was full, so carrier left note to retrieve it. My son pick it up and was admonished. They did not even give him all of it. Tracked a package that had been there two weeks, with no notice put in my mail, nor was it delivered. Carrier put a note on it to hold "per customer" which was not true. I was never aware it had arrived. I called the post office to find out why this happened as I need my medical supplies and never authorized a hold. He just said you will get it and hung up on me. Nary even a apologetic tone nor apology. As if you are inconveniencing them. So much for customer service, and who pays their salaries...?

Just left after standing in line for over 10 minutes. One person working front with line of 7 or 8 customers and could see other employees standing around talking and laughing. Three customers finally left. I was there because we placed a change of address 3 weeks ago, have been there already to tell them we are not getting mail & just received an email from a company asking for an accurate address because the post office returned their letter stamped that it was not tge correct address. Husband was told over a week ago that the address change form was overlooked...postman had been on vaca and it was being processed immediately...still no mail this week! Total incompetence!

Just got off with a really helpful (not) associate named Carol. Had to send my employee to pay for something with a company credit and she was not allowed to do, which has done multiple times a week for the past 11 years. After asking questions and getting screamed at about "new policies" without getting any answers to actual questions it is frustrating. Along with lost payroll and employee hours (after she had to wait in ridiculously long lines twice) it would be helpful if the post office spent more time training associates on how to productive to move their lines and training in customer service then to actually turn away paying customers. Our company will be using UPS for everything from now on! Had to give a one star review because zero was not an option.
