They often do not deliver packages to my address, saying that there was no access to my house. My house is accessible, no gate or anything, big house numbers. Four other people came in while I was waiting in he post office with he same or similar problem. Get your stuff delivered ups or fedex.

I have lived in the same house for 5 years. I can no longer count how many times I have been told packages were delivered, only to have to go to the office and proven them incompetent! As I write this I have had my rent check on my mailbox for 2 days ! Each time I go to the office or am lucky enough to get through to them by phone, it is suggested that I pay for a box! Is it really so hard for a carrier to simply turn their heads and see if I have posted a letter for pickup? SO PRETTY PLEASE WITH SUGAR ON TOP LOOK AT MY MAILBOX AND PICK UP MY MAIL!

These peoples need to be fire and hire someone who really want to work. Today I have call in twice, one is in the morning about a shipment that I have sent to a customer and the lady put me on hold with music on for ten minute and never came back so I hang up and then four later call again this time a lady put me on hold but I can still hear her and her co-worker talking and laughing in the background and never did get back to me. From now on I will be using the UPS instead of USPS!

I have never seen a post office this poorly managed. I constantly have trouble receiving packages in the mail. Even though it's their job, they refuse to deliver packages to my door. Astonishingly, I was told that the postal worker who delivers our mail & packages refuses to climb our stairs! The postal worker doesn't even leave a notice saying an attempt was made - or that I can pick up my package at their Elmwood office. Instead I had to find out where my packages are via online stores or friends. This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. He or she was hired to deliver mail and packages to a person's residence. If he (or she) cannot do the job, then management needs to hire someone who can. Then there's the matter of regular mail delivery. On a regular basis I've received my mail ripped, damaged and crushed as if the postal worker is in some kind of rage. One time I received a Netflix film in my mailbox and it was literally snapped in half because the postal worker carelessly handled it. And sometimes our outgoing mail doesn't get picked up for two to three days! My neighbors have been complaining about this as well. Something needs to change at this post office which is located at 5720 Citrus Blvd, Elmwood, LA 70123. They are an embarrassment to the USPS. This review was posted on March 13, 2018

I have not received regular mail in the last year plus. Over the year they will skip a day here a day there and now it has been 3 days since I have received mail. This Post Office needs a Manager or Managers that care about their job so the can instill work ethic to the employees. There is no excuse for the poor service at this location.
