Ever since I've moved here, my mail is always way behind a week or 2 longer than Independence. Also this office can't help with resolving issues and doesn't even have their own mail trucks or able to track your package for you. Always get a blue springs number thats always busy. Yet the website says it was taken to this grain valley office. They have lost a whole case of packages for a week and could not find it at the blue springs office when manager went to look. So I dont know what happened but it's upsetting. I don't park on the road but apparently if my neighbors block the boxes my mail won't get delivered. Many times everyone got mail but my packages alway end up stuck in a loop between here and blue springs.. which I guess means it's blue springs fault but this is ridiculous. We can have mcdo a new price chopper, up coming community. Yet our mail is at the mercy of the blue springs office/workers where most of my tracking stops there. I do not know how to resolve this issue as I've called the local office with many issues and concerns as well as blue springs but it still happens. No the package was not stolen I have tracking and for some reason even tho it left blue springs and came to grain valley it was taken back to the office but what office and how do i get ahold of anyone understanding at the blue springs office. I really hope it starts getting better not worse. I also never understood why I got a last warning ticket if blocking mail boxes on first night I moved in and had a uhual in drive way. Yet my packages dont get delivered due to that same issue?? Very frustrating and poor customer service on grain valleys end because we live in grain valley why do I need to call these blue springs numbers that dont pick up and spend forever trying to track down a package when thats why I called you! We all have to rely on the usps tracking page and information, it would be nice if it all worked correctly and how can you get in touch with anyone above to address these issues??

I love the staff here. They are always helpful and get me the best price. I do a lot of mail business, both using shipping easy as well as in person, and have never had a bad experience with the GV PO.

Absolutely horrible service. I live across the street from the post office. Across the street! Which is apparently "too close" to justify delivery to my home. I was forced to get a PO-box, which many online companies will not mail/deliver to. Not only that but you have to renew your PO-box yearly, at which point the post office MUST notify you of the impending closure of your box, BY LAW. This is all well and good, however for the past two years now I have NEVER ONCE received a notice to renew, despite the claims of the lax, disorganized staff at this office. TWICE I have had my mail shut off with absolutely zero attempt from this staff to notify me of the situation or contact me in any way. The concept of picking up the phone to reach out to a customer is apparently out of the question for these people as customer satisfaction is clearly none of their concern. Each time I have had to contact them and explain that I got no notices, at which point the staff will flat-out tell you to your face that you are wrong, essentially calling you a liar. Wonderful customer service. I keep every piece of mail and can 100% verify that no notices were delivered to my box at any point over the past two years. Not one. This is an absolutely unacceptable level of incompetence and poor service on their behalf. The staff at this office desperately needs to be replaced with competent employees that are willing to put an effort into their jobs. Avoid this post office at all costs.
