I am here almost every day! Everyone who works here is very helpful and friendly.

My neighbors must love getting my mail and packages because I sure as hell never get them. It's great ordering packages and giving them to my neighbors, with delivery confirmation even! Most incompetent mail carriers around.

There were about 5 people waiting in line for one white haired guy who was just shooting the breeze with a woman in black. They were not conducting any "business", but the postal clerk seemed totally unconcerned about wasting everyone's time while he conversed about things not related to his job. I went around looking for a vending machine to get stamps and couldn't find one, and came back a few minutes later and they were STILL chatting despite more people coming into the post office. I finally left out of rage at his rudeness and shot him a dagger look, which he noticed. Ironically, he was telling her among other things, "this is a high energy post office". If so, he wasn't part of that crew. I will NEVER return. Outrageous. I'll go to the downtown post office, 20 miles out of my way to avoid these apathetic rude government employees.

I had sent a package to my family who were newly in their house. Was surprised to get a notification that it was undeliverable. I called the postmaster and was told that the postman did not have a new resident card...which was in the box. Imagine my delight when my son called to say the package was delivered later that day. Nice that they fixed their error. Very impressed.

I've lived in Marion for 15 years at 4 different addresses. At least once a month I receive someone else's mail and recently it's been twice per week. Today I get a notice that a delivery attempt was made while sitting in my living room. No knock, no doorbell ring, no package, no notice of delivery, no way to reach anyone at the post office because it's Saturday. Not the first time this has happened either. If you live in Marion, need to make sure your package reaches its destination and have a choice on which carrier to use, your best bet is to pay a few $'s more and go with FedEx or UPS.
