Please understand this review is for the supervisor, Jose del Rio, and not the other workers here. The workers are fast, efficient, and friendly. Up until now, I have greatly appreciated this place for they have helped me figure out issues that may have happened with my mail in the past. Now, I'm severely disappointed in their customer service as I feel I was given the runaround. I had a package go missing. The tracking claimed it was in a parcel box, but a Key for the parcel box was never left in the mailbox. When I called about this problem, Jose is the one that called me back about my message. He assured me that they would talk to the carrier and find out what the problem might be and call me back the next day. I didn't get a phone call so I placed a note on the mailbox about the problem the day after the phone call. The carrier came by and told us he didn't know where the parcel key was. Then I got an email that night from Jose saying they talked to the carrier and that the key was missing because we had already retrieved the package....which makes no sense since the key should have been left behind if we had gotten the package out. I immediately called upon getting the email and the person on the line told me the supervisor was not there but that he would be there around 10 or 11 the next day. After hanging up, I replied to the email expressing my concerns and confusions. I again called the next day and again they told me the supervisor was not in and that he would be in on Monday after the weekend. I started work again by then so it was impossible for me to call at a reasonable time since I didn't finish my job until late, so I waited for a call. I haven't heard from anyone since then. Now, a $100 package which was supposed to be a Christmas present is permanently gone and I can't even get a refund from where I bought it because the online tracking states that my problem was "resolved" so the sellers will not believe me when I told them the package was lost. I feel absolutely wronged.

I dread the post office, I'd never been to this one. I was shocked at the quickness, friendliness and efficiency!!! Busy holiday season and still in and out in 5 minutes! Thank you!!!

Very slow line during peak times, which seems to be in the afternoon. There are usually only two people at the counter, working gradually through a line of 8-10 customers. A five minute question can become a forty minute wait in line. Thankfully, many of their forms are online, there's a number of alternative mailing businesses in town (PDQ, FedEx, UPS store) and you should only rarely need to go here. The mural on the wall over the counters is a really nice depiction of early Davis.

Didn't see it on the corner at first, coming down from the overpass. Has a nice parking lot in front with one way entrance and exit. Friendly, efficient, good first impression.

They were supposed to deliver a package worth $150 today and never knocked on my door but decided to leave a note. They dont answer phone calls under their 530 number and just have very rude service anyways.
