In Susanville the mail seems more like a suggestion than a by rain, by sleet, by dark of night kind of thing.

i'm a new resident to susanville ca and when i put my mail out to be picked up in the mail box with the red flag up, the postal worker will not stop and pick up my out going mail. i've been told that they don't have to stop unless they have a delivery. well, that doesn't really make sense because they are going by my resident to put mail into the box at the next door neighbor, so, why not stop and pick up my mail.  why do i or anyone else have to go to the post office every day when there is a postal worker that comes by (6) six days a week.
