Zero stars! Do not call this post office to schedule at passport appointment. Your message will not be listened to or phone call returned. "They don't have time to listen to the messages". We finally pulled our kids out of school and both left work to wait in line for passport appointment to find the person working the passports needed to take a 30 min break before helping us (it was 10am!). Call the Culpeper office; they will answer the phone and schedule your appointment even on a Saturday. Additionally, our mail is consistently delivered after 8pm or not at all. I just received a check that was mailed three weeks prior that I had to have cancelled and reissued. I have waited in line to ask to speak to a manager only to say he/she would have to call me and they never have.

This post office needs to get it together- I'm writing this review while waiting in line once again!! Every time I come here there is a line past the front doors and only 2 at best staff working.. just looking to buy stamps... I mean completely ridiculous- -at least have a stamp line if your not going to hire more staff!

Rural carrier subs in Charlottesville are not paid for overtime and working 6 and 7 days per week for sometimes 14 hour days without compensation. The Charlottesville office needs to be investigated! These are mostly young or uneducated people that are then told the money is missing due to taxes and they should expect it in their returns. There are rural carrier subs owed thousands in this office that are holding out hope that the issue will be resolved. PAY THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

End of Spring no snow or construction on Lake Albemarle Rd. I expected several packages and one was not delivered. As USPS delivery person commented on tracking information was "not delivered because of no access". Oh Yea!! but other mail and packages was able to be delivered the same day by the same post women. Why doesn't the delivery person just write down that they screwed up and didn't deliver the package because of incompetence. This happened several times before. This post office is beginning to treat mail like a third world country treats mail.

The worst post office on the east cost. They give you bad additude when you ask a single question and they can deliver mail properly. Ive been trying for 12 years to get packages or even regular mail delivered. It always seems that I receive someone else's mail or they can't deliver it....
