United States Postal Service

I dare say this is by far the best post office I've ever lived under and I really don't understand the negative reviews others have posted. Sure, sometimes lines can be long at peak hours but they move MUCH faster than in many other post offices of which I've been served in other cities. They are ALWAYS courteous and efficient. This is my 14th year being served by them and I stand by my comments. Unlike several other post offices that I formerly lived near in other cities and states, this one usually has enough people working the front counter. The people who work here have always been very helpful towards me and I honestly have no complaints and only compliments.

No one answered the phone. No operator when the line is forwarded. Government employees must get paid to do absolutely nothing because I've seen more intellectual monkeys at the zoo.

Went inside to mail a money order for a ticket and when I said I need tracking and it ensured $100 the lady acted like she's never heard of insuring mail and asked me if there's cash in it and treated me like some freak the whole transaction. I'm not an idiot thank you. I hate this place, this isn't the first negative visit I've had here.

I am happy to say I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees at this location. They have all been friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the long lines but that is typical of most post offices. Before Rosalyn became our regular postal carrier, we would often get the wrong mail delivered to us, etc. However, Rosalyn goes above and beyond to make sure everyone in the neighborhood gets their packages and mail on time. Prior to her it was often a mess!

I feel like it is time to do away with the United States Post Office. I would say our USPS is the worst post office but in reality I've been researching the USPS and all of them, everywhere across America are awful. I'd  rather keep my tax money that is being used to prop up this multitude of completely incompetent and uncaring workers and use it to pay FedEx and UPS to deliver my packages on time, to the correct address, with a good attitude and attention to customer service.  Conroe post office shame on you all for allowing and participating in the decline of an American institution. You all are terrible workers,  taking advantage of the fact that you get a guaranteed paycheck from taxpayers.

There is no need to post a phone number for this post office, because they won't answer the phone. Auto-attendant answers, but when it transfers to the operator, it rings a bunch and then goes to a fast busy. So they might as well save the money and disconnect the phone.
