I've never had so many issues with timeliness of mail delivery until dealing with the Hermiston USPS. I've had mail returned that had been weighed on a postage meter at a business for being a few cents off from what the post office meter read. This was returned months after the initial mailing. (The counter people are nice despite the above issues.) If you want timeliness and your mail to arrive sometime when needed, use UPS or FedEx.

I payed $60.00 for next day delivery, the item shipped did not arrive at destination until 4 day's later, had I known that I would have payed the $4.00 instead!!!! WOW!!

Apparently it is ok to tape up a box that was damaged during the shipping process and deliver it. My items were delivered to me damaged. The replacement was sent Priority (which should take 1-3 days) and I still haven't received it. It seems like every time I am expecting something to arrive through USPS they aren't able to meet their deadlines.
