Half the staff are good whilst the other half are incompetent or often rude. Will never have the sandwich that you’re after. Evri drop off machine is never working yet they always put the sign out on the street every morning advertising this service, so stupid.
I went there was because my firend told me she'd spotted a celebriy working there. I think it used to be a bakery about 20 years ago so i guess it wasnt to much of a suprise to see Phil hollywood stocking the dairy counter - he was really concentrating on making sure the yoghurts were in date- thats whats I like about him - he's a prefectionist
Been in every morning in the last two weeks as I work in park oppersite and never have any sandwiches for the meal deal it's terrible, every over local doesn't have this problem so why does this one so consistently bad with stock levels
Some of the reviews on this page are hysterical!! Worth a read. It's a great shop, I've never had an issues and find the staff charming and helpful. Keep it up!
Went in on a weekday evening in Jan 2022 and no staff wearing masks except security man yet 3 different members of staff seemed to find the motivation to follow me around and appear in front of me suddenly on my 10 minute visit for no good reason so I felt unsafe, harassed and stalked. Various customers were also not wearing masks, especially gangs of young people which i feel they should limit the numbers of and restrict entry if they don't wear masks.
Why provide self check-out tills if you are going to selectively bother people?
balsamic vinegar for £8.... seriously?! Lack of choice in this place, always a huge queue too. Also, such rude staff, sort your attitudes because there's really no need.
Went into the Tesco today & the security guard rightly asked me to put my mask on however when i was walking around the store i was starting to notice other people wasn’t wearing masks so then when i left the store i watched the door for a few minutes & seen the guard was letting certain people in without mask but then stopping others & asking them to put masks on. The guard has got to tell everybody to put masks on not just when he feels like it.
Employee named Jubiar behind the counter was very rude. Told us to buy only 6 lottery tickets, then to line up to buy another 6 and then to line up again. However, on previous visits, I purchased 25 tickets in 1 transaction. He was a rude employee and I will be complaining about him to Tesco Head Office by his recommendation. Seeing as he told us to complain about him and gave us his name very smugly.
Staff work hard there, they're always really busy doing things and not just standing around idly like in some stores. They have too many self service tills though, would much prefer more staff tills. Rubbish stock sometimes, but can often easily get the essentials.
