I order for delivery quite often from Universal Pizza. They're always incredibly quick and friendly! I've been looking for a good pizza place since moving from the eastern side of the state in 2019. Universal has filled that void. I've never had a problem with delivery, the food is always so hot I usually burn my mouth and we've never had an issue with missing items. The deliver men and women are always so quick, and always call or send a text. Their pizza is my absolute favorite. Their chicken nuggets taste home breaded and always crispy on the outside but juicy chicken on the inside. I haven't been able to really eat Mcnuggets since having Universals chicken nuggets. I'll continue ordering there at least once a week. Also, shockingly inexpensive. I typically get a medium pizza which is the same size of some larges at other places, french fries, and 10 nuggets and spend $25. Highly recommend!
Their Gluten Free is the best I've had nation wide! It's just like real pizza dough, first time I have ever found a gluten free pizza that looks and tastes normal! If you are anywhere in the area, give this place a try!!!! The Calzones regular and gluten free are HUGE and the gluten free sugar balls are to die for. This family knows how to make good food, all the food is wonderful!!! Wish I loved closer.
I can’t recommend Universal Pizza enough! The owner and her staff are some of the kindest, sweetest and most servant hearted people I’ve seen in food industry. They sincerely care about their customers and get to know you by name. I get their gluten free pizza and it’s not only the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had but it’s THE BEST PIZZA by a landslide. It honestly tastes so good that I have to ask if it’s actually gluten free… my husband loves the pizza and raves about their breaded wings! Do yourself a favor and order from them. Ps. You get a stamp card and for every 5 pizzas you buy, you get one FREE!
Great local pizza place, always warm and fresh, no complaints from me. Try them and you will see
owner was nice, the food was good, but definitely do not eat here if you have celiac or are very sensitive to gluten. I ordered a gluten-free calzone, and she warned me on cross-contamination, which is the case pretty much everywhere you dine out. That said, I don’t know what is in the dough or how contaminated everything was, but I am feeling quite sick just a couple hours after eating there. And while I do have celiac, I still get pizza all the time from places that make both regular and gluten-free. This typically does not happen. So it must’ve been very contaminated or else the ingredients are not actually gluten-free as advertised! avoid the gluten-free dough at all costs, unless you are just eating gluten, free as a trend or fad diet. if you actually need to be GF, go elsewhere. owner was nice, the food was good, but definitely do not eat here if you have celiac or are very sensitive to gluten. ETA: I got violently-ill last night to the point I almost had to go to hospital. My worst “glutening” in 15 years - it was Scary!! my non-GF hubby ate the rest of the supposed “gluten-free” calzone today and his consensus was “there was definitely not one iota of that which was gluten-free. either she used the wrong dough, doesnt know what GF is, or they just say it’s GF when it isn’t.” NOT SAFE FOR CELIAC; DOUBT IT IS EVEN ACTUALLY GF!!! I have lived up the street from Universal Pizza for 3 years, and I drive past it at least once a week, often more. After all the times I said, “I wanna try that place,” I finally pulled the trigger tonight! First of all, I love when restaurants, especially local shops, give their customers the ability to order online! I ordered a large cheese pizza 16” for pickup, and the online system notified my that it would be ready in 20 minutes. Altogether, it cost right around $10, which isn’t bad for that size of pizza! When I showed up 20 minutes later, the pizza was fresh out of the oven! The staff was friendly and attentive, and I was in and out in under 3 minutes. When I got home and opened the box, I was greeted by this delicious looking pizza! The tomato sauce tasted very fresh, and the cheese was a perfect blend and went very nicely with the sauce. The crust was cooked perfectly and had some nice air pockets. It definitely started fresh, and you can taste it! Altogether, a fantastic pizza, and I will definitely plan to be back!
Ordered the Italian Calzone and BQ Chicken Pizza this time. Always very good!Food: 5/5
Ordered a extra large pizza with sausage and extra cheese was like a regular cheese pizza not much sausage either first time I was disappointed also not cooked extra like I asked
The absolute best gluten free pizza! We were so freaked out that they lied because it was so thick and airy most gf is super thin. Every time we get here we are always happy!
This is the best pizza place I've ever been to. I've ordered a lot of their special pizzas and their normal pizzas and their quality, taste, and size to cost is amazing!!! I tried their gluten free pizza as I have a slight intolerance. Their gluten free crust tasted the same if not better than their normal pizza crust. Most pizza places use pre-made dough ordered from udis or some place but this looks like they make it in house and they took great care to make the flavor great If you like pizza and don't eat here them you are doing your self a disservice.
