Story

Universal Windows Direct was founded in April of 2002 by William Barr and Michael Strmac of Fairview Park, Ohio. It was their mission to create a home improvement company that offers high quality home improvement goods at the lowest possible prices. What began as two guys in a 350 square foot office quickly grew to become one of the nation's leading remodeling companies. Today, Universal Windows Direct represents thousands of customers and has a rapidly growing dealer network with locations nationwide all of which are actively involved in the communities they serve.

I had a great experience with Universal Windows Direct. I had all the windows in my home replaced and had a great experience from start to finish. Jake the salesman was knowledgeable and professional and so was Steve the measure guy. Today the windows were installed by Danny, Billy, Bryan and Jim and they were all very professional and had good work ethic. You could tell they had experience and they had the installation down to a science. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

We had 8 windows replaced in our bedrooms. Salesman was very knowledgeable. You do have to have an idea ahead of time of a price you're comfortable with. We had several quotes ahead of time so we knew what our price should be. After receiving a very high price we waited it out until the price came down to one comparable to the others. Cliff and his crew was prompt and did the job professionally and quickly. They took care to protect my floor with drop cloths and boot covers. Once the windows were installed Cliff took the time to go over all the functions of the windows with me. Everything was left clean. Would use them again.

We arranged an at home estimate during one of the home improvement shows earlier this year. Our salesman Josh was a fantastic representative of your company and your product, despite my personal reluctance to spend what we spent on your product. Our windows were installed just this last Monday by your installer, Ray Smith and his install crew; my personal apprehensions on price aside, your installation crews' professionalism, cleanliness and attention to detail, as well as the obvious quality of your products pushed my fears and worries out the window (all puns intended). I can personally say that I am more than happy with our choice in your products and your services. We have a few more windows to upgrade in the future, and we'll very likely consult your company first with our future home improvement needs. Thanks for the great windows and installation, and for making believers in us.

Salesman was a great guy. We only received 1 free window as part of a promo. I know the 1 window is really to try to get the sales pitch to you, but we just were not in a place to buy at that exact time. They salesman was still great even though I bought nothing. Thomas Miller came out to install. Super nice guy. Put shoe covers on any time he came in. Did a great job and a great window. When we are ready to buy, I would be confident in using these guys and the window is great! They could have easily treated us as second class because we didn't spend a dollar, but they were great.

Workers arrived at scheduled time and did a fantastic job both in workmanship and cleanup. They encountered an underlying foundation defect and corrected it both quickly and efficiently. Framing of doors was done beautifully and exceeded my expectations. Friendly and courteous service was greatly appreciated. I would recommend Ray Smith and assistant to anyone as well as the doors themselves which really look great.
