Story

UBC is located in the 300 block of N. Sherman, just south of Adams Street, near WIU's administration building, Corbin Hall and Wash-Link-Grote halls.

Mission

The Purpose of this church is to:
• Bring Glory to God.
• Be a dynamic spiritual church empowered by the Holy Spirit to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible in our church, our community, and throughout the world.
• Be a worshiping fellowship and to experience an awareness of God, recognizing His person, and responding in obedience to His leadership.
• Experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and fellow believers.
• Help people experience a growing knowledge of God and man in order to create true disciples.
• Be a church that ministers unselfishly to persons in the community and the world in Jesus’ name.
• Be a church whose purpose is to be Christ-like in our daily living by emphasizing our total commitment of life, personality, and possessions to the Lordship of Christ Jesus.
