The people who are writing five star views based on the looks of the building and the location are idiots. Period. Reviews are supposed to be based on services rendered. That said, UGA College of Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital may or may not have a mend or cure for your dog depending on the size of your bank account. If you have a big one they will fix you right up. If you have a not-so-big one they will recommend euthanasia and refuse to treat the animal...EVEN IF HE OR SHE IS OTHERWISE HEALTHY. Ms. Karen Park ( I refuse to refer to her as "Dr" because her behavior was absolutely unethical and shameful and not at all in line with the oath she took upon becoming a veterinarian). She completely recommended treating a 9 month old completely healthy female Boxer puppy with a broken jaw and a possible punctured nasal passage until she found out the owners couldn't afford the $10,000 she quoted and then she recommended euthanasia. This story is to be continued because you're going to be hearing more about this.

My ferret died because of a lack of knowledge from oncology and doctor . They gave my ferret radiation treatment which made him really sick and he was in severe pain . After one day of radiation he wouldn't eat and drink . The doctor told me that he was nauseated. When I ask the doctor if it comes from the radiation, she told me no. Which is a big lie .This happened on a weekend and I took my ferret back to uga on a Sunday because he was in severe pain and wouldn't eat nor drink. Upon admitting him they promised that he would get some pain meds throughout the night The following day I spoke to the exotic doctor which treated my ferret and I found that Lenny ,my ferret was not given anything for pain throughout the night I trusted these people with my ferret . They are liars and should b a shamed of themselves

300% more expensive than most vets in Georgia despite the fact that they are inexperienced students.
