Came in with good expectations and left very disappointed. We were not given directions for our booked tour, one of the staff members had just gotten off the phone with a student and stated "these stupid art kids". You are supposed to make a good first impression for your future students and all you did was prove how much you could care less about them. No matter how simple the question is you don't comment things like that. Especially if you are supposed to be a "professional" school. Overall the atmosphere and experience were horroble. I will be sure not to recommend this school to anyone.

University of Hartford is a better school than Quinnipiac University. I visited University of Hartford. It welcomes National Origin, Race and Religion with open arms. Would recommend to attend University of Hartford over Quinnipiac University. Care about students and alumni from foreign countries. National Origin, Race, and Creed is a top priority to University of Hartford. I have first hand experience of Quinnipiac University. QU will discriminate if your Indian, Chinese, Black.

So I'm transferring and every person whom I mentioned this to said, "good for you. This place is so depressing". Odd right?

Not a bad school to start off with first time being away but I'm still not returning to Uhart. Professors do their job well but some don't care. Uhart isn't the worst but u kind of have to get lucky for how ur experience will be. The school is small, people are clique-ish. U gotta put yourself out for sure or just hope u meet people you vibe with. U see the same faces around pretty much/not a big school. Lots of people go home every other weekend. School spirit is kind of low. They need more activities & good events going on here, clubs need to do more. The food is repetitive,nothing special. The Dorms aren't all that & there are no elevators so have fun If u live on the 3rd/4th floor & it's time to do laundry or u have to carry groceries, something heavy or whatever up to your room. The school just simply cost too much for how it is & what they offer.

Great school, perfect size for me to get individual attention and not be lost in the masses of larger schools.
