This department needs a chief with a backbone someone that will stand up for his officers. your officer was off the clock and out of uniform! A apology should have never been issued by the chief because there was nothing racist about his costume nor disgraceful. Grow a pair chief.

It is ridiculous to apologize for what an officer does on his own time. Absolutely nothing racist about that costume. And furthermore it is sad that it is ok that people can mock the president of the united states but mocking an ex football athlete is news worthy. Shame on you !

If there was a way to rate this absolutely NOTHING i would!!!! the disgrace you place on the city of Reno??? How dare you use your white privilege to mock the people of color. ARENT YOU SUPPOSED TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC! there is no excuse for the blatant disregard of the feeling of those you claim to protect and serve!!!!! ADAM GARICA SHOULD BE FIRED !!!!! if he cant see his own staff as a problem then HE IS ALSO THE PROBLEM!!!!
