Awesome School. Great group assignments!

I rate UOP as a four star school. I recently completed my MHA and two before that my BHA. I meet create and interesting people throughout my entire 6 years with the school. I initially started at the Columbus, Georgia campus. And finished my first degree here in Atlanta. At both campus I had good professors and bad professors. I truly believe students from every college in the country has had negative and positive experiences. To me college is like life, you get out what you put into it. I will say that UOP can do much better with partnering their students with internships. Especially with their Healthcare Degree programs. For future graduate students heading into the workforce competitive schools like Georgia State graduates have the extra edge cause their school partner with health care facilities too include internships with classroom learning. To me that is priceless. I wish I had better research all colleges before I started at UOP. Today I have two degrees in healthcare but no healthcare job. I currently work in marketing because it is so hard to found Health Administration internships or found a state approved training facilities that will accept you without working for them first. I have went to school for 6 straight years achieving healthcare degrees and I cannot found a job with neither degree. I wish that UOP would have been more forthcoming about the difficulty associated with the degree and job placement. Also keep in mine I have been an healthcare professional for over 15 years. Earned my MBA at UofP Atlanta campuses and my BS/BM in Albuquerque. Huge difference. Any for profit school is there to make a profit. Therefore, no one gets an F. During one class toward the end of the MBA program a student asked me to format her references and citations. This person made it all the way to finishing a graduate program and could not format references. Participation points you are suppose to earn for participating are given out even if you sit there in front of your computer and keep up with your Facebook profile. Teachers are known as facilitators because they have no control over curriculum and do not even know what is on the exams. Few, if any, even crack open the text book. Basically, the program is set up where you learn on your own and turn your work in prior to the class for which that lesson is suppose to be taught. How backwards is that? To top it off several facilitators had to have their few minutes to praise Obama. Even if it was about Bush it is still inappropriate. The only reason I gave it three stars is because I did meet some very good people along the way. I had good classmates that were trying to make something of themselves.
