Mission

Hillel’s mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. URI Hillel offers a full array of social, cultural, religious, community service and Israel related programming. Hillel actively engages Jewish students on their own terms: providing them with Jewish opportunities that are meaningful and appealing. Whether they wish to meet other Jews socially, do community service, express themselves artistically, engage in informal Jewish learning or learn more about their traditions, Hillel is there to offer resources, support and encouragement. Hillel is committed to a pluralistic vision of Judaism that embraces all movements. Hillel is an incubator for the Jewish leaders of tomorrow.
