University of Saint Joseph’s School of Pharmacy is one of two pharmacy schools in the state of Connecticut. Our three-calendar-year curriculum trims a full year off the standard four-year program.

Story

The new 35,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, located in downtown Hartford, allows for a unique and exciting learning experience. The classrooms feature the latest technology to offer students a truly interactive experience. Lecture and laboratory seating in a “theater style” classroom environment allows students a “front row seat” anywhere in the classroom.

The program focuses on a firm foundation in the biomedical, pharmaceutical, socio-behavioral, clinical science, and life-long learning skills resulting in pharmacy practitioners who are committed to providing quality pharmacist-delivered patient care and the advancement of the pharmacy profession.

Mission

The mission of the University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy is to provide exemplary pharmacy education to a diverse and qualified student population possessing high leadership potential. The school fosters creation of new knowledge and strong ethical values in the development of competent, compassionate pharmacists dedicated to superior patient care and service to their communities.
