The Upshur County Swimming Pool and Recreational Park provide fun summer activities for your entire family!

Story

The Upshur County Pool and Recreation Park was constructed in the early 1980's after receiving a grant from Senator Rockefeller IV, then Governor Rockefeller IV. Since then the Recreation Park has provided fun summer activities for people of all ages to enjoy. The park features an Olympic size swimming pool, small and large pavilions, a playground, a basketball court, and tennis courts. The park is open to the public during the summer months, from Memorial Day weekend through mid August. The swimming pool is open to the public from 11:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday-Saturday, and 12:30-5:30 on Sundays The pool and pavilions are also available for private rental. Please find a list of fees below:

Daily Admission:
Monday - Saturday: $5.00 per person
Sunday: $3.00 per person
* No charge for children 2 years old or younger

Seasonal Pool Pass:
One individual: $120.00
Two, immediate family: $150.00
* $30.00 for each additional family member

One day passes are available in packs of 5 for $20.00

Pool Party:
6:00pm-8:00pm or 8:30pm-10:30pm
1-40 attending: $175.00
41-80 attending: $200.00
81 and above attending: $225.00

Group Swimming Lessons: $50.00/week
Private lessons as available.

Shelter Rental:
Large Shelter: $75.00 ($70.50 tax exempt) with Kitchen
Large Shelter $50.00 ($47.00 tax exempt) without kitchen
Small Shelter: $25.00 ($23.50 tax exempt)

Lap Swimming:
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-9:00 AM
$50 each pass or $3.00 per session
