Friendly service. New owner really has cleaned the place up. Fresh paint new floors etc.
We stopped in just to explore the town. The bartender was a nice guy. I could tell that this place must be much busier during the school year because he seemed caught off guard when I made the attempt to strike up a conversation on a Friday night but he was still very polite. I hear they have live music from time to time and will be back to check that scene out in the future.
Love hanging out and playing pool with friends and awesomely priced drinks to boot! :D and even more cool updates like new floor and security cams and use of debit cards
Good bartenders, lots of pool tables, good prices, and most importantly a delightful community of musicians that come out of the woodwork for Wednesday open mics and live shows. My new favorite bar in town.
Absolutely the most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. The STAFF became very VIOLENT and lost all self control, a major temper along with yelling at my wife when she left her ID back home. He began to get in her personal space and try to grab the drink out her hands. After this man had already served us. We were there to watch live music outside, enjoy our wings, and have one drink. My wife was crying it was a horrible time. We live in Chicago but love to come visit our old college town when we are around to see family. NEVER COME HERE. Disrespect at it’s finest to the working class people of this area.
I don't go as often as I used to but it's an awesome place to experience live, local music. You can meet a lot of cool people as well. One of the best bars in Charleston!
Love the live music and that we can listen outside weather permitting. Been my bar for 30 years. Laid back and friendly!!!
Not a bad chill spot if you want to get away from the college style atmosphere. Not exactly a "nice" place but the drinks are cheap and they usually have decent bands. Also, service is great and fast. Extremely rare in this town!
