The food here is fabulous. Pasta dishes are the best - wish there were more options of pasta on the menu. Like the decor, altho it can be a little cavernous - but it's hip and trendy and Longview needs some modern eating establishments! !!! Waitress was friendly and nice and service was good. Personally, we think this is one of the best places to eat in town. The only negative is that they seem to be out of my preference of wine pretty frequently - which is disappointing.

+1 Amazing elk patty in the saloon burger. +2 best pumpkin pie cheesecake. Decoratively in Mason jar. +3 shelly is the best waitress and dining experience we've been given

The name is Urban....but its very country. My partner and i came in about 4:30 to the dimly lit Urban. Country music filled the barn like atmosphere. The decor included cowhides draped over a rail, and the walls were adorned with potato sacks from various farms. Our waitress was blonde and nice, but VERY busy, and she was polite enough to let us know it may be a few minutes due to the number of tables she had waiting. She was a very good waitress, it was just understaffed. The menu items were a bit overpriced for their quality. I had a NY steak, and despite it being a very easy cut to trim, it had a large piece of gristle. It was obscured like a land mine beneath the gravy the steak was covered in. My partner had a sirloin and experienced similar large gristle issues. We also had some mesquite chips which were heavily laden with mesquite seasoning to the point that ranch made them slightly edible. The waitress was polite and appologetic after I declined to take the chips home. She was possibly the best part of our meal at the Urban. She worked her butt off trying to get everyone and everything handled. Excellent waitress!

The only reason all my friends and family come to dinner and drinks at Longviews Urban Saloon and Grill is because we love the service! Especially Stephanie Keith!!! She's so personable, genuinely caring, and treats ALL of her customers as family. Fast service, she always has a great attitude and the salads are always yummy. Thank you Stephanie for being amazing at your job!! WTch out Head hunters may snatch that girl up -happy customers!!

The Urban could have used more wait staff during the first part of our visit. Also the mesquite pound if potatos had seasoning caked in clumps. The steak was cooked to perfection, even with its large piece of grissle in the middle. Over all the experience was good, even though the price seemed a bit high.
