Employee Biographies:
Dental Hygienists

Ariana - graduated from Iowa Central Community College in 2008. She has been practicing with Urbandale Family Dentistry since graduating and is our lead hygienist. Ariana spends her free-time cheering on her active children, in their many activities, with her husband. She also enjoys yoga and reading.

Ann - graduate of the DMACC Dental Hygiene Program and joined Urbandale Family Dentistry in June of 2017. She resides in Ankeny with her husband and two young children. Outside of work, Ann enjoys reading, sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Sarah - graduated from the DMACC Dental Hygiene program in early May 2017. She has four children - 1 boy and 3 girls. Sarah brings some Cyclone pride into the office. She enjoys paddle boarding, running marathons, shopping and traveling around the US to watch her girls do competitive cheerleading.

Dental Assistants

Kristin - graduated from Vatterott College and has been practicing dental assisting since 2006 at Urbandale Family Dentistry. She is our lead dental assistant and is certified in expanded functions 1 and 2. Away from the practice Kristin enjoys the outdoors, cheering on the Hawkeyes and most of all spending time with her husband and 3 children.

Gloria - has been working as a dental assistant in the Des Moines area since 1987. She received her dental training at the College of Dentistry in Panama. She loves working with patients and makes sure that her years of experience are used to make patients feel welcome, comfortable and confident in the care we provide. In her free time Gloria enjoys spending time with her friends and family and loves to take trips to Panama with her husband of 29 years.

Office Staff

Vicki - has been employed at Urbandale Family Dentistry since 1992, as the office manager. She loves taking care of the doctors, patient's and staff in our family oriented atmosphere. When she is not caring for patients and staff she finds joy in volunteering, golfing, quilting, biking and she enjoys traveling with her husband.

Becky - has been employed at Urbandale Family Dentistry for over 20 years as our office assistant. In her spare time she enjoys being creative - painting, drawing and mosaics. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
