One of the worst US Mail services I have ever seen. No idea when or if you will receive or mail. Can be as late as 8pm. And no supervision on delivery, sometimes ends up at your neighbors, who can't read or speak English. Postmaster doesn't care if she addresses problems or not. So time to get the local Congressman involved, because there is no recourse.

We were expecting a package about a week ago and when it didn’t arrive three days later, I phoned the Albertville Post Office to see if they could help me locate it. I spoke with the Postmaster, who couldn’t have been nicer. She tracked it down and discovered it had been to Ashville, AL and Macon, GA. It was then in Birmingham scheduled to be delivered to the Albertville office the next morning. It ended up going to Kentucky and Ashville another time or two and even to Gadsden and Birmingham another time or two. It was in a mistake-ridden loop because of automation and couldn’t get out. Yesterday the very nice and accommodating postmaster at Albertville drove all the way to Ashville and picked it up herself, brought it back to Albertville and it was delivered to my house today! The folks at the Albertville Post Office could not have been more helpful! Special thanks to the Postmaster, the Supervisor, a clerk (I guess) named Paige that I spoke with on the phone who also called Ashville to check on it and to our wonderful carrier, Tracey, who delivered it to my door this afternoon. Many, many thanks!!

The people that work behind the counter are pretty decent, but that's about the only positive thing. The parking lot is too small, the building is old, dirty, and run-down, they don't staff enough people to keep lines down. About any time my husband and I have to go there to mail a package there is a line at or out the door. It's just a depressing place to walk into.

The people under the counter is very nice and professional. I will highly recommended to have a stamp vending machine available inside the building. It's very painful to have to stay in a long line just for a stamp.
