Not sure how much anger can exist in one business, but this place seems to have a solid monopoly on snark and indifference towards customers. There is a lot of passive aggressiveness that happens when you enter this store. For example (and there are many for me), there is a pathway that loops through the store that is meant to make sure everyone queues up in a line. I completely understand the need for it as I enjoy living in a civil society. One day I went into the post office, saw no other customers in the store and avoided the circuitous loop through the overpriced gifts and went straight to the counter. The woman working at the counter told me to go back and go through the pathway. I thought she was kidding, despite the lack of a smile. I told her that I wasn't going to walk around the store when I am already at the counter and there is nobody else in the post office. She then began stamping other packages and ignoring me. Anyhow, she finally waited on me and that is the last time I've gone there despite it being the closest post office to my home. Look, we all have bad days, but I have given this place numerous chances to even have a modicum of decency or value me as a customer. Reading other reviews here, I realize my experiences weren't isolated incidents. Now I just go to the Niwot post office where I don't encounter any of this nonsense.

Thus is a gift center and post office, very unique. Nothing else around like it. If you want a full service post office it is a short drive to the one on Valmont. When I moved here from Denver I was delighted to find this quaint shop. They were super helpful to me, setting up a PO box, even helping to wrap a gift. I never received this type of care after using the post offices in Denver for decades. Its homey and that is good. Like a shop in the mountains that closes for lunch and asks you to please come back later. If you want a big post office staffed by many, rush in, rush out, you are so, soooo busy, go elsewhere. Its a short drive almost any where here in Boulder

I've attempted this posted office several times in the past 6 months and feel the same about the owner and the hours. Not the best USPS I've been to but today I actually went on my lunch break and they were open and also noticed a new young lady working inside who was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and helpful, good customer service. Nice change.

Avoid this place like the PLAGUE!!!! Is there a Zero star? Lets name all the ways this place is subpar. Grumpy staff, ugly/unprofessional tape on the floor to direct customers around (what am I cattle?), closed during my lunch hour 1-2 (which is when I need to use this P.O. the most), stops usps services at 4 or 4:30 so I can't even go back to mail my package after work! WTH! It also stinks inside.

RUDE RUDE RUDE , grey hair lady is so nasty , how does she stay in business, this lady berated me for not knowing what something meant. She was real nasty Ill never ever go there again no matter how desperate I want to ship something. I ran into her at Boulder creek fesitval one time , she was blocking Eldorado Springs water dispenser, I said excuse me twice before she would move and she totally freaked out on me and started yelling at me in front of the whole line, shes clearly disturbed. This place is hell to go to , avoid avoid avoid.!!!!!
