I love the the staff.  I think they are patient smart and very friendly.  They even help you without any issues of doing so.  I never had issues coming here.  It even is very clean and smells clean.  I like how organized it is too.  Sorry for the bad experience some felt but I like it here.  Saves you from going all over to fight traffic to mail packages off too.  Saves gas and time.  I appreciate it being there.

I'm new in town, and we had issues with our mail and it getting sent to the wrong place, and they were so sweet, helpful, and diligent and even personally called other post offices from previous area and then me to help work it out. They are always very friendly and helpful.

My experience just from today. This doesnt even come close to the other dealings Ive had with her. She needs to be REMOVED from this post office. I dont even want to give it 1 star but that's the only way I could leave a review. So todays incident happened when I pulled into the post office and seen our flag wasnt at half mast like it was ordered to be. Had this same incident last year when our officers were gunned down and "she didnt get the email" . She is VERY RUDE, has no customer service skills and doesnt work well with the customers when there is a problem. Very nasty attitude. But anyways this is what happened today. 

Imagine that. Good old Holden post office. Had to let them know AGAIN that flag is supposed to be at half mast.

UPDATE:
***So not only did I tell her in person, I left to run to store and about 10 minutes later came back thru, and flag is still not lowered. So I called and the rude one answered the phone and this is the convo after she picked up the phone.
Me: Maam are you aware our flag is to be at half mast
Her: and for what reason is it to be at half mast? (Very nasty tone)
Me: All the deaths in Vegas last night plus one of our Lafayette police officers was killed in the line of duty.
Her: And who ordered this half mast (still very rude) 
Me: Our POTUS Mr Donald Trump
Her: well maam your president Mr Trump didnt send me an email.
Me: So your the only post office in the parish that doesn't get the emails because this is the SECOND time Ive had to let you know when our flag should be at half mast. I shouldnt have to do your job. I'll call your superior and let them know somethings wrong with your email bc you never get the ones pertaining to the flag.
Her: you call who ever you like Goodye. 
And she hung up. Way to conduct yourself with the public maam.

Ms. Willie White is the most difficult person to deal with I have ever experienced,  Worst postmaster we as a community could possibly be cursed with.

I don't know about Mr. "GetOverIt" here, but I've had fantastic dealings with this post office here in Holden. The employees are very polite, very kind, and work with you the absolute best they can.
Regularly when I order something online, as soon as they receive it, it is on the way, regularly before the expected delivery date, and if it arrives after the mail Currier has left, they allow me to come pick it up, we chat, very polite, and very good employees.
Don't listen to that "1 star" review, as a resident of this town I am here to tell you otherwise, and I'm not hiding behind a fake name trying to make good employees look bad, I'm being 100% honest based upon personal experience with this post office.
