I was not a fan. When I first went to gym the person that I was talking to didn't really seem to know what he was doing. He didn't know the plans and keep asking another employee questions. Which should have been a sign to run but there are not to many places to go where I like. So I got all signed up he told me I could cancel at anytime with no problems and the gym hours and I was on my way. Later that night I came back to workout and it was closed apparently he told me the wrong hours. After that everything was fine for a bit til I tried to go to the gym and my card key didn't work. I called the next day and they told me I didn't pay at which point I informed them that it should have been taken directly out of my bank account. The man that signed me up missed a step with his paper work but they got that all straightened out. Then a few months later I got gym equipment for my home from a family friend and decided to cancel my gym membership. When I went to the gym to cancel they gave me a number to call and cancel and told me it would be no problem. I called the number and was told that I would have to write a paper saying why I was quitting and give it to the people at the gym who would then send it out to someone else and that it would take a month for all of this to go through so I would have to pay the gym fee that would happen during that time and I would have to pay a $200 cancellation fee and I might also have to pay a small monthly fee until my year plan was up. All in all I was not happy with this gym. No one ever cleaned to equipment after they used it there where always unattended children running around and I am pretty sure a homeless couple was using the showers.

This gym is a 100 times better with the new owner. Hopefully Socadas will never be ressurected again. lol

This place sucks. Teddy is the only reason I workout here. I hope that the idiot that ran Socada in the ground loses every bit of money he stole from the company. My daddy works at the mill and my mom is a teacher for the schoolboard. I work late at Chilis and I barely have time to workout when I get off. Go panthers

I can certainly understand the level of frustration with this gym. The person whom sold it to me cooked his books, so I did nothing but lose money to stay afloat. In the end I decided to let it go and Michel came in to take it on. I ask that you give her a chance to improve the facility. Perhaps I will visit Chili's and speak with Daniel, Since I am the only reason Teddy is there... lol Steve
