Cool museum to check out if you're in the area. Stopped on the way to Mohegan Sun. Very informative museum about the history of the US submarine program from WW1 to today. The whole experience is based on the tour of the submarine that is docked there, beyond that there's not much else. Don't take the tour of the sub if you're claustrophobic, very tight and narrow spaces. Tour is free, so stop by and enjoy!

A fun and informative museum! It’s all free and the staff is very friendly. The museum is interesting with an emphasis on the history of submarines and some cool hands-on stuff you can do like looking through periscopes. The Nautilus itself is very cool too, there are free audio tours and afterwards you can ask questions to someone from from the Navy. The museum is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, but naturally the submarine isn’t.

Wonderful historic place and museum. I loved it. Parking was accessible. Crowds are not large. Lots of information and I enjoyed walking around and enjoying it all. Able to get lots of pictures and the crowd is respectful.

Nautilus is a great place to spend time with family and guests from out of the country are even other states. The whole museum is free to gift shop is reasonably priced and the knowledge that you gained is very good. And the multi-language tour of the submarine and very nice.

Awesome place for the whole family, they even have a retired submarine in the water that you take a tour through, pretty cool. Kids loved it. Lots of educational stuff there.
