Story

Utah Senior Planning has served Utah's seniors and veterans since 2007. We are locally owned and operated and we strive to help members of our community find the best financial option for their long-term care.

Our innovative approach helps seniors qualify for Medicaid assistance to help cover the cost of long-term care. We can help if you’re already in a nursing home or assisted living and are private paying or if you are still at home but anticipate a future need. We also specialize in pre-planning, long-term care insurance, and estate planning.

We will ensure your Medicaid and/or VA Aid & Attendance case is approved in a timely manner while relieving you of the stress involved in the approval process. We will be your advocate with the state and will follow your case through from application until approval.

Additional services include Medicare Insurance, namely Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplement Plans and Part D Prescription Drug Plans.

They engaged me and my siblings to ensure we also understood the steps my parents were taking; All in all - great peace of mind for me and my family. There were no surprise expenses; all paperwork was completed on time (or early) to meet our specific needs and circumstances. Anthony, Kelly, Riley - were of particular help and went over and above to ensure we were informed of status every step of the way. I highly recommend their services - I am confident my family would still be in the quagmire for months if we had tried to navigate all the paperwork and agencies we needed -- and it would have been an expensive quagmire in time and money. I recommend Utah Senior Planning HIGHLY! My mother had her second of two strokes this past January, at which point I moved her to Utah from the east coast into an assisted living. The process was difficult and of course very emotional. I am fairly young and my mothers only child so I had a large responsibility and some uncertainty about how best to plan for her future. From our first encounter with Landon, both my mother’s and my anxieties were alleviated.  Landon is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Furthermore, he carries out his work with great kindness and empathy.  In my mothers case it was necessary to prepare for her future, and as well deal with past accounting issues, which Dave was able to help us rectify. It gave me great piece of mind to know I had trustworthy and efficient professionals, to take care of different aspects of our needs including legal, tax, and financial planning, all under the purview of Utah Senior Planning.  We had several moving parts to deal with and the work we needed done may have taken longer than usual, however; Utah Senior Planning took care of it all, and for a very reasonable cost. I am extremely grateful to both Landon and Dave and am very fortunate to have found Utah Senior Planning!

Everyone at Utah Senior Planning was great to work with. So knowledgeable, friendly and kind. They helped us with all the work to get our mother on Medicaid so fast, with little headache for us and brought much peace into our family. I wish I would have known about them years ago. Working with Landon Sandberg was a great experience. Thanks for all your concern and help and putting up with so many questions that were answered so quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend them!

Utah Senior Planning was amazing! Anthony Tran and his co-workers walked us through very complicated and stressful choices that had to be made for my mom's future. I can't thank them enough and recommend them to anyone.

Utah Sr Planning is a great group of professionals who were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend these folks! I got clear directions on exactly what pieces of info were needed, and my ongoing questions were answered quickly. After all the paperwork was submitted, I got fast response time for additional questions and communication. Completely happy with all the folks I interacted with.
