High production values, impeccable stagecraft, and top shelf equity actors who pour themselves into their parts equals a cultural treat in the middle of nowhere. Worth the trip up from Vegas or down from Salt Lake. Went to see Midsummer Night's Dream in 2017, have reservations for Merchant of Venice and Othello this summer. Must see if you ate in western Utah. Only drawback: productions sell out early.

It doesn't get any better than Utah Shakespeare Festival. If you love Cedar City like I do it's absolutely amazing the talent and the ambiance of the Productions they put on. Ticket prices are very reasonable.

The Shakespeare Festival is amazing. The free Greenshow outside every night is really fun. The new director used to create shows for Disneyland and he helped create a fun, family friendly atmosphere. The actors sing, dance, and tell enchanting stories. All the vendors walk around in time-period clothes which only adds to the magic of the event. The rest of the plays are simply amazing. I saw every single one last summer and was never disappointed. I'd argue that their quality is on par with Broadway. You can't ask for a better location or event.

Excellent venue! We saw Midsummer Night Dream. The performers made this play. It was fun and very enjoyable. Loved it!!

Best time to go is during the previews to enjoy the actors' and directors' seminars the next day. Also, you can get hilarious mishaps. Everyone involved has such passion, and it's wonderful every year. I miss the old theater though, and wish prices would be lower when you go see several plays. I really like the people at the day care too!
