DO NOT ORDER BOOKS FROM HERE!!! It's like this godforsaken university hasn't taken enough money from it's students. This bookstore basically extorts money from you in a bait/switch deal. Here's how it works: you buy the cheapest option, say a rental used textbook (which can be a little less than Amazon), and process your order. By the time you go to pick up your order, they've changed the rental, used textbook to a full price textbook. Bonus: there's absolutely nothing you can do about it if you aren't within the tiny refund window of FOUR DAYS. And anyone who actually wants to save money waits until they go to class and see if the professor says the textbook is required, so you have even less time! Plus, If you don't go right when they open then you have to wait in a 2+ hour line. I should still be able to return a book that is unopened (literally still on the counter of the bookstore) and not what I ordered on the SATURDAY of the first week of classes. Absolutely ridiculous.
 
TL;DR--Do not give them any of your money, do not even look in the direction of the bookstore when walking by. If I could give them zero stars, it would not even be an accurate description of this horrible place. Hell is not fire and flames, nor thunderbolts forged in God's wrath; hell is the UTC Bookstore.

I'm here at 7:50am and they still have the doors locked they close on the 15th of December for holiday and the store opens up at 7:30am what's really going on? I know they see me standing out here

With the frame of mind of contributing to my school I purchased a couple of shirts yesterday. The same shirt in two colors size medium. Later I got an email saying that they didn't have the navy any longer so I said give me an XL (same as the medium), it'll be a great gift! I give the shirt to a close  friend last night and was highly embarrassed when it said medium also. I was very clear with what I wanted. I said it multiple times. Now I have to make an extra trip (not living on campus) today when I have a lot of homework I need to finish before volunteering at the Ironman Race this weekend. This store needs people that can communicate and understand what people are saying instead of doing what is easiest for them.

Every single person working here has been nothing but helpful. The cost of books though...OMG. I purchased a printer here because I didn't want to drive all the way to Wal-Mart. I get it home and the ink that was provided with the printer had been used up! Someone bought this printer before me, used the ink, put tape over the ink and returned the printer to get a full refund! I called the bookstore and spoke to a lovely lady who told me I could bring it back for a full refund. I however have chosen to keep the printer and just buy new ink.

Expensive as hell and your parents will have a heart attack after they check the price on that once textbook and pass key you'll buy or that class you don't care about.
