A hidden gem of pizza place. The crust is soft but not floppy. It's a little thicker so you can really taste the dough. The seasoning in the sause was amazing. I also got the white pie and it had to be one of the best I've ever had. There are a few tables inside so eating in might be a issue at a busy time. The service was top notch. Very friendly and the place was very clean. They have a selection of beers if you want one. The Utica beer was good. Parking is in the garage behind so you have to walk around the building to get to the front door. They said they deliver to New Rochelle and parts of Larchmont as well so if you are looking to have delivery, definitely hit them up for a pie. Parking: Parking is behind the place in the garage. Got to pay 24/7. Plenty of spots when I went for dinner.
Stellar service and delicious pizza pies. Finally a healthy alternative to all of the ordinary pizza places around that use subpar flour and ingredients.Food: 5/5
Comfort food at its finest. And that extends to the service. The owner clearly takes pride in providing an excellent experience for the people who come to visit. Thank you for making us feel welcome each and every time we go. Kid-friendliness: My kids love going there. The environment is kid friendly with place settings they love to draw on.
So glad we ordered from here! Visiting from Rochester NY last weekend, Utica Pie certainly felt like homeThe pizza is divine. Restaurant is so clean and beautiful. The attention to detail is strong here. The gentleman who cooked and handed me the pizzas i can only assume was the owner or GM at the very least was so sweet and thoughtful. Offered me a beverage while i waited and even made sure i had flat space in my car to store the boxes. He knows what he's doing
Pizza is consistent so far - had it twice. Delicious both times. I've had the wings very solid, South Street Pie Excellent and Upside Down pie better than excellent. Far from a local jaunt as it's about 15-20min away so that should help validate any concerns for people about the quality. I'd love to dine in but a little one at home prevents that but it seems quiet and nice enough for those who can/care to. Beer and such available. Anyways, I hope more people go so they can open on Monday since that's the day of the week i'm less inclined to cook.
The wings were amazing. The pizza was good, although not quite what I was expecting. Would go back and dine in as the atmosphere was cool and they serve beer.Food: 4/5
amazing pizza! ordered the upside pie its like an l & b spumoni style pizza with a utica twist its a detroit style not a sicilian but similar not as thick and it was incredible. the sauce was on point, the crust chewy and delicious and the grated cheese on top was perfect…. the owner is incredibly nice and friendly which makes me want to support this pizzeria even more…. do yourself a favor and stop by this place…. you will be happy that you did…. thanks westchester foodies facebook group for highlighting this place… so glad i tried it
The metro area has pizzeria loyalists of every slice:, Sicilian, wood-fired, coal-fired, and the traditional round pie. How can you top those heated passions? Now you will try an altogether different ‘za: Utica Pie in White Plains. These pies have the sauce, the toppings below the cheese on top of a sort of Sicilian round pie. It’s cut in squares. This pizza has flavorful cheese that stands up to the toppings. The toppings underneath the cheese come together vastly differently for a much more identifiable ingredient taste. Five of us split the large Caesar salad, the terrific wings, but we couldn’t finish the two large pies: one was pepperoni and the other was sausage, pepper and onions. We were given the reheat directions from owner Sal Torchia. The pizza tastes amazing reheated. Utica Club beer and other upstate brews are ice cold and there’s a decent affordable wine list. Also, there's no Coke or Pepsi - only Boylan sodas on tap. This is a different take on pizza, but an unforgettable performance.
Very good pizza, nice people. Our pizza was slightly undercooked but it was still fresh and tasty. The website has a bunch of options that aren't anywhere on the printed menu. There is a disclaimer to that effect on the menu but still that's weird. The pizza took quite a long time to come out 25 min even though they didn't appear to have other customers or takeout orders at the time. The drink selection was hard to see from behind the counter and there was no printed list to read. Altogether it was a very pleasant experience and we will be coming back.
We first tried this place in November 2022,and we haven't orderd from another pizza place since. It's that good .Food: 5/5
