For a trip to the ER, we couldn't have asked for a better experience! They called for my husband before they even got an ID bracelet on him. The medical staff was professional, efficient, reactive, concerned about his discomfort,...all around outstanding...from the registrar to the financial office. Dr. Duenez was top notch, knows his stuff and is one heck of a seamstress! A huge thank you to the staff at UMH for the treatment of my husband! 5 stars!!!!

Go anywhere else, seriously. Very bad hospital. Hardly up to date on sanitation standards, with a staff that cares little to nothing about your well being. Even with an appointment the wait time can be upwards to three hours, and that's not including if you get shuffled around to different departments, as they give you no help on where to go or what to do after you leave one area to move on to the next. Their phlebotomists are very badly trained. My specific instance the lady needed four tries to get a needle in my arm, which has very obvious veins, a heroin addict has a better shot of hitting it than she did. In addition to that, once it had been put in my vein she flicked it a couple times to get the blood to flow faster. My arm was purple from the middle of my bicep to the middle of my forearm for nearly a week. Their staff for vaccinations are the worst of the lot. No one gives you the papers you need to get the shots until you get to the actual person who does it, who then acts surprised about it, and makes you go to the back of their line because of it. Yes, there was a line for shots that anywhere else can take as little as a couple minutes. On top of all this, the payment desk will lie to you about the payments you're required to make. After paying my absurd bill there two months later I get a letter in the mail saying I hadn't paid all of it, and that they are willing to sue if you do not. The biggest flunk of them all is some of their staff doesn't speak a lick of English. It's not required to get hired there, they just shrug at you, and move along ignoring you afterwards instead of trying to find someone who does speak English who can help you.
