I contacted this company to book a flight and spoke with Vicky. I told her I needed a flight to the Bahamas. Mentioned I was looking online and suddenly most of the flights were gone and I decided to book with an agent instead. She set me up and I mentioned to her that I could never once find any of the flights she booked us on. She told me she has access into the airlines system and sees more than I would. That should have been my first clue that something was wrong. I will take complete ownership in my part of not looking over the flight she booked. Yes, that is my fault as she booked our flights to Nassua and not George Town. There are several parts I have a problem with. When I called her to tell her what I noticed she immediately told me I told her Nassau. I wouldn't have done that as I was never looking at Nassua, always George Town. I may have said I need a flight to the Bahamas but after telling her where we were staying and her being a travel agent she should have then asked me if I wanted George Town or Nassua. Nope, she just told me I said Nassua, which I didn't. Again, I take the ownership that I didn't look at the exact itinerary, I assumed. Never once did Vicky say sorry or try to come up with a solution to help me. She got very short and rude. I asked her what I could do and I was also looking on priceline for flights. I found a flight I needed and told her what it was. She couldn't find the same flight. I finally had to tell her to cancel my tickets and I would book on priceline, which had a 24 hour cancellation. After booking on priceline I calmed down a bit and started looking at options. I realized I could change the tickets for just a return flight. I asked Vicky to make this change and it took her two days to finally get it done. She never once responded to me that it was complete I had to call the airlines to find out. There is so much more I could say but in the end Vicky's customer service is horrible and she is not helpful and never responds back to you. Maybe others in the business are good but I would stay clear of Vicky.

I booked a vacation April 6th around 12pm, for September 6th through the 12th, with Vicky, who was not very friendly to begin with nor informative at all. I put a $400 deposit turning down insurance because I figured it was only to do with flying coverage; lost baggage. Vicky informed me it could be added later so I wasn't too worried it and never mentioned anything about the insurance also covering cancelation. My husband and I are not big on traveling, we were just getting started. This was going to be our second vacation with etravelomaha as we were extremely satisfied with their first services last year, 2017, for our honey moon. Anyway, Vicky never sent me confirmation paperwork and I waited till the end of business day. I wasn't able to call back and request my paperwork till the next day, Saturday as Vicky informed me they closed at 5pm Friday. When I called on Saturday and spoke to someone else, she sent me my verification paperwork at 9:43am. I was at work during this time so didn't look at it till after 6pm with my husband. We were extremely excited. on Tuesday, April 10th, we found out we were pregnant and had to cancel our trip because my Dr. demmed my pregnancy as high risk due to medical conditions. When I called Vicky back, she stated the $400 would be non-refundable. This was the first time I heard about it. Again, we don't travel much and were not sure of the rules behind, plus looking at the timeline Vicky did not send our confirmation information and me calling the next day to request it, we did not have enough time, 24hrs, to even consider asking about cancelation policies. It's also not okay that Vicky told me the insurance could be added at any time. Vicky stated she would check with American Airlines and see if they would refund. She never called me back, I had to call and see what happened. Vicky told me they would not refund. I ended up asking for a manager, and was transferred to Jack. I left him a v-mail, but he never called me back. I had to call again till I got him on the phone and he pretty much said there was nothing he could do, didn't take ownership that Vicky failed to inform me the $400 would be non-refundable if we decided to cancel, failed to send me verification paperwork where it actually gave that information, and that I didn't even have time to review it till after 6pm with my husband. I informed Jack that I wasn't able to travel because my pregnancy was classified as high risk and my Dr. did not allow for me to travel. I have a Dr.'s note stating I cannot travel, but all he said was to email American Airlines and they may be able to help. It sickens me that neither Vicky, and especially Jack, a supposed manager, showed any sort of empathy about how the whole interaction was handled. I blame Vicky, etravelomaha, for not being clear about the cancellation policy and then telling me I could add the insurance later, which was was a lie. I wanted to continue doing business with this company because we loved our last vacation and everything was handled well. We are young and just now starting to travel. I cannot travel because of a medical condition, but what really pisses me off and makes me see this company as dishonest, is that they failed to explain all rules and processes within a timely manner. They told me to figure it out and go through American Airlines to dispute. I reached out to American Airlines and they did nothing. I had no knowledge the tickets were nonrefundable because Vicky failed to mention that. Now I can’t travel because of a medical condition and cannot get my $400 back.

Reading the other reviews and I agree. It is who you use. Had great success with the last person who helped me. Now I know who to contact. Tried one of my favorite agents from another company and she couldn't begin to get close in price. Will be using them again. I love the emails sent to me each Monday morning. It gives me ideas of different places to travel.

I have booked at least 12-14 vacations with this group. Everyone has gone perfect and as scheduled. (Even a trip to London & Rome). Highly recommend!!!
