My wife and I had scheduled a romantic getaway to the Smokey Mountains for after Christmas. We had previously stayed in "Heavens Nest", and loved it so much that we reserved it again. On our way to our destination we called for the express check-in as we were not going to get there until after closing hours. When we called we were told that they were having some problems with our cabin and would have to get back to us. We asked what the problem was and were told that the mountains had received 14" of snow the day before and that no one could get up or down the mountain. This was very upsetting to us as we were only going to be there for 3 nights and wanted "our cabin"! But the ladies at Vacation Valley put us in another cabin for our first night and we were finally able to get to "our cabin" the next two nights. While we had no complaints with the first cabin, (it was a very nice cabin), we love the seclusion of Heaven's Nest. Even though there are other cabins around you really can't tell by the way the cabin is layed out on the mountain. We love Heaven's nest and will continue to go there every time we feel we need a little get-a-way. Thank you for all that you did for us on our stay.

at Sugar Bear Pros: View, very nice interior, huge TV, I liked so many things about this cabin, screened deck specially, staff were nice too Cons: charcole grill (and little light reach that area around the grill so bring a headlamp for grilling at night. no internet, TV picture quality is not very good
