Ceiling fan did not work. Toilet liked two tries to get the job done. No handle on shower door. Old building; room smells like it. Affordable price; polite staff.

The reception person was very good. Our experience was that this was a 'more- well-kept' vintage motel; clean and comfy, with air conditioning and a cute little pool. We had a lovely breakfast at the "Sugar Shack Cafe." I would go here again. :)

Small family run motorlodge old school vibe, funky rooms with wonderfully unique closets and tucked away office space (probably used to be little kitchenettes) that's I used for making electronic music

We chose to stay at Vagabond Inn because it was the cheapest option available in the area and that certainly showed. The rooms are a bit dilapidated, with paint coming off the walls and spots of mold in the bathroom. Furthermore, the AC ran extremely loudly, making it difficult to sleep. With that being said, if you're looking for a cheap option outside of Lassen Volcanic National Park, Vagabond is not a terrible choice.

It was surprisingly a nice overnight stay. The room was nice and roomy with a homey feel to it. Nice place to spend a quick night and get back on the road.
