I was so nervous going in for blood work. The minute I arrived I was greeted by a gentleman who kindly showed me exactly where to park and where to go when I entered the building. From there, Robert in Admissions helped get everything setup for me within 5 minutes. Going straight to my appointment I was greeted by Therese and David in the Lab and they were extremely helpful. David was calming and made light of tests, which brought me to ease. I HIGHLY recommend Vail Valley Medical Center for anything you need. You won't get lost and you'll be greeted around every corner with customer service and bedside manner at its finest.

Great hospital, Dr. Viola did an amazing job of fixing a compound fracture of my radius and ulna from a downhill mountain biking crash. Ended up here for 10 days due to complications from surgery. Nurses were extremely friendly, helpful, and understanding. Patrick the technician was the coolest guy and great at his job. But wait, the best part of this hospital is the FOOD! It was soo good, the French toast and quesadillas were to die for! Honestly for being stuck in the hospital for 10 days it was a pretty painless experience.

Spent 13 hours in ER. Waiting over 6 hours to hear results of an MRI that they didn't have anyone available to read.  Ski injury made it impossible for my husband to walk and we had to wait 5 days before any one actually looked at his leg ( though they did treat other less severe injuries. ) He was released from hospital without a wheelchair no warning  and no doctor ever actually treating the leg.  (Though they brought several sets of crutches that he couldn't use. )
The run around between the hospital and Stedman Clinic about who is responsible for what allows them to avoid truly helping the patients. 
The patient advocacy follow through is a joke.
The surgeons are amazing though and the only positive of our entire experience.
If you have a choice in care, head to Mayo where there are also wonderful surgeons as well as an amazing staff, excellent care and great patient communication.

I received terrible unacceptable treatment. The staff was not attentive, treated me with no compassion. The guys that were staffed on 4/3/17 overnight shift were more concerned about talking about the different mini vans & basically forced me leave even though I was clearly still sick. Offered no additional help. I was also asked by the MD if I was financially wealthy or had someone wealthy that was taking care if me  WTF does that question have to do with me seeking medical treatment. I have medical insurance, which I feel I was discriminated against. I am extremely disappointed with this ER. Experience. I have been receiving care by Vail Valley Hospital for years including multiple surgeries. I am disappointed in the non professional services I received. I guess with the recent on going construction they forgot that real people come there for Health care. I didn't receive a follow-up call. I called Sara the ER director & of course no response from her. I left the hospital in the same condition I arrived n by ambulance. I clearly was not in any condition to leave the hospital. The guy nurse was rude, barely got any water to drink. When I asked if I could use the restroom, this nurse was rude & told me to stand up & open my eyes or this isn't going to work! WTF! I could not have been more cooperative & very nice. I was told to leave before next shift, I had a fever, could barely comprende things & wasn't  very stable on my feet. I remember just tearing out of the the room but didn't know​ how to get out just started opening doors ended up in the garage. Not one staff member offered to help me nor properly discharge me like the policy & procedures state.

I traveled here for back surgery. Poatoo I was in the ICU and on the floor and it was pleasantly stay for me.
