The ham was really great, very nice little traditional place. They make syrup the old fashioned way. Loved all the fixings. Les oreilles du christ était fantastique! Bonne soupe au pois aussi. All around great place, maybe a little hard to hear each other because of the acoustics of the place, but I guess that's what happens when everyone brings their own wine! Belle petite place familiale. Go there - Vas-y.

Food is okay (veg ham and creton were good), service is good depending on who, clealiness could be better, ambiance is lacking

The setting is lovely - we saw geese flying, and robins, and beautiful apple orchards and a ridge of maples. The building was rustic and clean and lovely. However, the food was soulless and had no flavour. It was cheap and generic: slabs of tasteless meat, unremarkable bits of sausage, an omelette that appeared to have been cooked in a microwave, and pickles vinegary and bland. There was no sense of tradition, or welcome, or community. A bit of music would have been nice, and the cavernous place means even a few voices cause such an echoing din that conversation is nearly impossible. This place is very pretty and could be so wonderful if only the management would take time to put a bit of care, tradition or love into the food preparation. Very disappointing.

Good food, good service and very accomodating for vegetarians

We went, me and 6 of my friends and were received by a rude personnel from the get go .We were the only ones at that hour and upon entry we were rudely asked to shut the door because it was letting cool air in. We went there for the vegetarian food and had to experience the dullest, awfullest tasting food possible. The omelet was probably mixed with either milk or water to make more of it, had no taste. The soup was basically what seemed to be a warmed can of chickpea. The vegetarian menue (more expensive) consisted of fake hot dog and ham (that all tasted the same; tasted nothing). They also gave us literally boiled potatoes, with nothing on them, the kind of thing you would serve in a prison. It was just a terrible experience, food wise and personnel wise. I appreciated being with my friends and i still tipped them. And when came time to go, they were literally waiting for us to go before going and they were shouting at us asking us what we were waiting for, we were trying to operate our GPS. Save your 27$ and do something more productive with it, AVOID THIS spot, go somewhere else.
