The Company

Story

We have been a family owned and operated company for over 75 years. The owner Don Hotton is a third generation florist. His grandfather started in 1935 in Piedmont, Ca. In 1958, Don's father Duane Hotton bought Jorys Flowers in Walnut Creek. Jorys Flowers has expanded so much that when Don took over in 1992, we also added a location in Concord on Galaxy Way. From there we went on to purchase Vallejo City Floral Company.

We are proud to offer you the freshest products available. You see being a wholesaler and a retailer gives us the ability to have fresh products brought in daily to pass the savings on to you, the customer. Our design staff is comprised of some of the most talented and skilled professionals in Northern California. So rest assured that ~

Beautiful rose arrangement for Valentine's Day, so fresh, and more beautiful each day! I had to write a review. The best ever rose bouquet, and received many compliments like "the ones I got from my husband weren't that pretty" and days later they still looked beautiful. Very pleased.  :)

My son is a cadet at Cal Maritime Academy.  He is attending a formal event tonight w/ a date.  I live all the way in Camarillo, CA., a six hour drive away.  I ordered a boutonniere and corsage from Vallejo City Floral over the phone and paid for delivery.   The delivery service called my son ahead of time so he could come down from the ship and meet them at the gate.  My son sent me pics of the boutonniere and corsage and I was highly impressed w/ the amount of roses, freshness, bows.  The wrist corsage is full of flowers and you can tell they put a lot of attention to detail in their work.  I immediately gave them a call to thank them and to let them know I appreciate their dependable service and attention to detail.  I will use Vallejo City Floral from now on for all the formal events my son attends.  I'm completely impressed!!!

Wish I could give them no stars! So I place an order 3 days ago and was assured that everything was processed successfully. So today is Valentines day and my mom is supposed to be receiving flowers by 2pm,....................... at 1:20 pm
I get a phone call from this stupid business telling me that my order was not processed. Really?? Your calling me the day of to tell me you cannot deliver what was ordered. Not even the most unprofessional part, then Im told on a voicemail, don't try calling us back the phone lines will be transferred. They had 3 days before today to contact me. DO NOT ORDER  anything from here!!!!!!!!! I hope they go out of business or this review persuades someone to shop elsewhere.

Working with Valejo floral employee is awesome and Dave our boss is a great and amazing man to work with and for. Their work is very professional and customers service is awesome. I would refer all my family and friends to Vallejo floral......
