In the past we have always had good food at this establishment. Not so for our last visit. The salad was dripping wet which wash away the minimal amount of salad dressing. Without the water the amount of dressing would have been sufficant. The croutons appeared to be home made and tasted off. Like the oil used to make them was bad not quite rancid but old. The only nice thing to say about the chicken strips were that they were not. My husbands 1/4" thick rib was not and could no be cooked medium due to the thickness. Very disappointing all the way around.

The Place Valley Bar & Grill is located in downtown Spring Valley at 107 E Saint Paul Street. This a nice family owned business that is very nostalgic inside. There is a gas station theme with vintage gas pump and vintage signage. There are plenty of tables, booths, dining room and of course there is always the beautiful bar. The Menu/Food Very nice menu offerings with daily specials on the weekend. There are multiple sandwich and burger offerings, along with Tavern fried chicken, tacos, ribs, steaks, baked and fried fish available on the on the weekends. We ordered the homemade Tacos (love the fresh fried shells) and Chicken Quesadillas. These entrees were very good. I'm anxious to try many of their other entrees. The Service/Value/Experience Our service was very good. The food is reasonably priced and presents a good value for your money. Overall this was a very positive tavern/restaurant dining experience. I recommend you give it a try.

The chicken is out of this world amazing!! And it doesn't come in a soggy greased soaked paper bag! It was way more fries than one person can eat and fast! No 2 hour wait on our food
