Valley Beit Midrash is a collaborative organization that brings new programs to the Greater Phoenix Jewish community in a diverse, welcoming, engaging, and pluralistic setting.

Mission

- To increase the breadth and quality of adult Jewish learning for the Greater Phoenix Jewish Community;
- To bring a broad cross-section of the community together to learn;
- To encourage greater cooperation and collaboration between different Jewish organizations;
- To teach, model, and inspire the value of pluralism through a variety of topics, educators, and settings;
- To improve the quality of Jewish life in the Greater Phoenix Jewish community.

I am a winter visitor in Scottsdale. I look forward to and enjoy the smorgasbord of education programs but on by Valley Beit Midrash. Rabbi Yanklowitz and the VBR staff do an excellent job!

This is a POLITICAL group. This is NOT RELIGION OR JUDAISM. If you're left wing and looking for that then you'll be right a at home, but otherwise do not fall for this DECEPTION THAT USES RELIGION.

It's just some guy named Shawn or Shmully who promotes himself as some inspiration on Facebook. It's not actually anything jewish, he just tries to make it sound like it's real "Judaism". I thought it was authentic orthodox Judaism, but in reality he's just a conservative political activist. He just uses the whole jewish route to get people who don't know better into his vegan social justice thing he's got going and he tells you he's orthodox to gain your trust. He twists and mangled jewish concepts to make it fit into his agenda. The operation is basically intellectual fraud. Steer clear and beware of this guy. He just wants to exploit your desire for spirituality to gas his own machine.

This is a political left-wing organization not really a Jewish organization they claim to be Orthodox but are more closely aligned with the Conservative movement.
