Story

At Valley Brook Veterinary Hospital, we care for your pets as if they were our own. We always strive to give them the best possible medical and surgical care. We know that your pets are an important part of your family and deserve the utmost compassion and respect. In order to attain these goals, we work closely with you every step of the way.

We have three licensed Veterinarians at Valley Brook:

Gregory S. Riskin, DVM
Owner and Medical Director

Dr. Greg Riskin has been working in small animal veterinary medicine since he was 16 years old. He graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. After graduation, he completed a 13 month Small Animal Medicine and Surgery internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Riskin has enjoyed caring for our pets in Northern N.J. and being the owner of Valley Brook Veterinary Hospital since 1999. He is proud to be an integral part of the community.

Dr. Riskin grew up with schnauzers, turtles, and cats in White Plains, N.Y. Since August 2000, he has resided in Fair Lawn with his wife Andrea, a Pyscologist, and their three children; Deborah, Michael, and Eden. Included in their family are three rescued cats; Cyrus, JoJo, and Roey.
