Valley High School is a high school in Valley Station, Kentucky.Valley became a "traditional" school in 1999 in an attempt to boost enrollment after it had fallen to 63% of capacity.Currently the enrollment is about 1,000. Valley has been added onto three times plus has had temporary buildings built. Over the years six schools have been built to relieve Valley enrollment and better serve the greater Louisville area.

There's a few awful teachers but the ones that are good make it worthwhile. I would say they aren't very equiped for medical situations because there is no on duty nurse, and there is definently a drugs and bullying issue but it has gotten much better ever since Rob Stevenson became the principle. There are drug dogs that come in once a month, and now that the dress code has relaxed bullying has decreased, in my opinion because now we wear clothing that flatters us and our body types. The uniform before did not suit everyone well and did cause self esteem issues and negative comments. School is decently clean as well.

I highly recommend taking your children to another high school because right next to this school is a massive crematory operation. Other funeral homes in Kentuckiana send their bodies to this location for burning. People think that the smell is food from the restaurants cooking. Sometimes the odor is very foul and revolting. In my opinion, it is killing a bunch of trees and vegetation because I've noticed a lot of dead stuff being removed since burning started while the remaining ones look unhealthy. Toxins and dioxins are odorless, nonvisible, and can't be filtered without an expensive filter (not used in the USA). Water vapor is also discharged from the stack containing human material and bodily waste of the corpse.

Okay. dude. this school man. it was great. But someone stole my fresh jays and  i got upset. I said i was going to do something bad and it was a joke and the teacher dint belie me. i got suspended for 10 days and my mom got mad. i will never forget that kid that stole my jays.

Is getting better but has a long way to go. Some teachers are lazy but so are some parents.

My son's go there I have no problems they are up and coming making lots of changes for the better! Good school!
