Valley view is a bar and restaurant, I took the family last week. Good American food, good specials and fair prices. Hard to feed a family of 4 anywhere else for such a good price. Staff is friendly. I have been several times in the past never been disappointed. Will be back Food: 5/5
This is a wonderful place to go with friends and enjoy great food and wonderful service. Everyone who works there really cares about you and where they work. Each and every meal is better than the one before. Kim the owner goes above and beyond to make sure that her customers are happy and well taken care of. I have allergies to certain things and she made sure that my meal was perfect. Of course it always is. Love this place!!
Went there & had BAD Service. Got Chewed out by the Waitress. And some people from our party that night went there again. And were refused Service. Prior to this we had been going to Valley View Inn EVERY Friday night for at least 8 years. Sorry NOT Sorry for your Loss!!Food: 1/5
I have driven past this place many times I tried it a few years ago. The food was very good, the service was outstanding the chicken tenders are good, the sandwiches are great, and the crabcakes are good,All for very reasonable prices. This place is most definitely a hidden gem you would not expect it to have amazing food but now it is one of my favorite spots in the Parkville area.
This is a great hidden gem! They have clean Covid spaced tables, great service and delicious food. We ordered salad which was fresh w/homemade dressing, French Onion soup the best I’ve had in years and the roast Turkey platter savory stuffing, homemade mashed potatoes and moist tasty turkey. Even the coffee was fresh brewed. It’s connected to a bar and has some of that vibe. However, we’ll be back for more delicious food and great service from this family owned restaurant.
This place absolutely rocks, I grew up in Harford County going to hole in the wall local spots. I just moved to Parkville and decided to check out Valley View. What an awesome decision, I had the burger and crab dip and my girlfriend had the Caesar Salad, everything was delicious, we will certainly be back. They also had the orioles game!
Golf Club Party for 2nd year in a row. I'm all for going back again !!Food: 5/5
This is a 'hole in the wall' kinda place. It is quite hidden but well worth the search. Two of us had the Crab Cake platter and our other guest had the Fried Catfish. We were very pleased with the quantity and quality of our food. If you are in the area looking for a place to eat, you won't go wrong stopping here.
10 Stars! The locals have been coming to this place for DECADES, and now I know why. It has a unique family feel, great food, and kindly staff. The chef, in my opinion, is incredibly talented. I ordered a medly of items from the menu and was impressed with every dish. Portion size, taste and price were all spot on - I actually felt guilty that they didn't charge more for the food! The ingredients were so fresh and they spared no expense! French Onion soup - to die for. Absolute perfection. The chili was also delicious, just the right amount of spice, flavorful and satisfying. Maryland Crab soup - the star of the show. Giant delicious chunks of crab meat in a blissful soup. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I ordered the rice pudding. Wow. Now I know what heaven tastes like! Overall, our party was so pleased with the service and food that we literally stood and gave the chef a round of applause!
I've been eating at Valley View for over 20 years. I've ordered the fried oysters many, many times. Tonight I ordered them again. They were the Worst fried oysters I have ever had. I took a photo. They were barely the size of a quarter. The waitress commented that kitchen staff had questions about them. They should never have served them. Friends and I eat there almost every week after bowling. I have lunch there regularly. Ask about the quality, origin and size before ordering. I sent them back!
