Best burger I've ever had. Along with the best fries. Stopped here on our way from California to Colorado to grab a snack and saw they had a grill. The ladies working there were very sweet and cooked the best burger I've ever had, and I've had a lot of burgers. Stop here and get one If you're passing through.

While this gas station is conveniently located near the Valmy rest stop, getting gas at this station is not recommended. The gas pumps are incredibly slow and after 10mins of filling we gained less than 5 gallons and decided that our time would be better spent looking for another gas station.

I made the stupid mistake of not making sure I had my keys on me when I locked and shut my car door.  The attendant was very friendly and helpful in getting me someone to unlock my car, conversing with me the whole time and offering me a coffee.  When you're stuck in the middle of nowhere in a desert, these things are extremely appreciated.

Well for starts, the diesel pump was broken and I was about out of diesel. They told us the nearest station was back 15 miles at Battle Mountain. My car is modified to run filtered wast cooking oil, so I asked them if they had any used oil they were throwing out and if I could have a small amount so that I would not run out of fuel on my way back to town. The two girls behind the counter said the had nothing like that, that they don't use cooking oil. Well I did not believe them, so I took a look as I was leaving, and yep there was cooking oil back there. (no I did not take any) I was very disappointed that these country folk were unwilling to help, and even lied to me. We were in a desert in summer! Running out of fuel can be life threatening. I would not be so upset if they had been truthful with me. You people are lairs and I will never stop by again!
