High energy! Van Andel Arena is a ginormous arena in beautiful Downtown Grand Rapids. Check-in is fast and safe with their new upgrade to security. Once in the door, everything from concessions to information to restrooms are marked and easy to find. The event staff are polite and super helpful. And provided you need to step away from the event to grab another hotdog, refill your drink, or find a restroom, you'll never miss the action with thanks to the several easy to see displays that are strategically positioned throughout the building, always keeping you up to the minute on the action. I have never had a less than amazing experience here at the high impact home of the Grand Rapids Griffins.

This is a fantastic venue for concerts! I took my daughter to see STEELY DAN (a bittersweet event due to the untimely death of Walter Becker) and we were very happy with the accessible parking, the ease of entering the arena, and most importantly, the quality of our seats. We sat in the lower bowl, section 104 and had an excellent view of the stage, and the sound quality and acoustics were superb for an arena. I would highly recommend any concert at this facility.

View was great! But the floor seats were fold out chairs!! On top of that they were set up so close together I was literally rubbing arms with the person next to me, and my husband had to lean my way not to rub arms with the person next to him. I expected a little more comfort for the $230 spent on tickets. And these chairs did not move!

It's easy to find parking and terrific restaurants near by. This facility is used for sports and music and I've had fun going to both types of events here. I waited way too long for a hugely overpriced glass of wine at my last concert. Still you sort of expect ridiculous prices at these venues. Overall a great experience, but don't imagine you'll get out at a budget price. Bring your wallet and hang on.

One of Grandrapids most Iconic landmarks. It is a wounderful stadium that is diverse in it's shows. From exciting sport games, to popular musicians, and motor cross and monster trucks. This is one place that is not only easy to fine. But can hold an audience over a thousand. They serve good food and easy access to the restrooms as well. This is one place. You'll enjoy next time your in town.
