This is always the beach I visit when I'm in Naples with my family. Easy, close parking garage ($8 for whole day, even if you leave & come back at night for the sunset, just save your receipt, it's good all day). Simple to park & walk with your gear. Or you can drop off your spouse/parent with kids at the roundabout and go park at the garage. Public restroom close to entrance to beach. Showers to rinse off sand from you and your stuff before you leave. There's also a little walk-up tiki hut (very tiny) to buy a few things you may have forgotten, like water or sunscreen, even prepackaged frozen treats (see photo)! The only downsides to this beach are that it's a bit shallow in depth, so on a crowded day, it may be hard to find lots of space for yourself/family and there isn't a boardwalk or pier. Cool bonus: sand tortoises walk out of the sand dunes throughout the day looking for food! Just don't touch the tortoises. (See photo)

The county has done a remarkable job developing beach access for the public. Park in the nearby parking structure for $8, which is a few steps from the beach. In route you will find modern bathrooms, walkways and nice landscaping leading to the beach. The Sheriffs department can be seen checking activity on a regular basis which provides a feeling of safety. The beach is beautiful and popular, get there early and select a nice spot in the sand.

We come every year for 4th of July. The beach's sand is a silky white and the water is rarely brisk. I love watching the sunsets here and taking a deep before dusk. It's amazingly relaxing with lots of like minded laid back people who prefer something more quaint and away from the loudness of beaches like south beach or Daytona. I love this place!

Sand is clean and soft. Water is clear. One of the best beaches around. Parking garage is a bonus!

My personal favorite beach in Naples, FL. Update - Barefoot Beach County Preserve now takes my 1st place but Vanderbilt Beach is a very close second.
