Still the Best place in Galt for Breakfast! Always friendly staff. Food consistently delicious. Excellent place to take the kids. Highly recommend for lunch too! Solid selection of gourmet burgers.

My Grandma decided to take the family out to dinner on Valentine's Day so we headed fur the Velvet Grill and Creamery. We were amazed to discover there was no wait AND we got to choose between a table or booth! They had a special menu, in addition to the regular one, to help celebrate the holiday. Everyone except me ordered off the special menu. They all LOVED their food. My dinner was not quite what I was expecting, however it was a wonderful evening!

The location fun because you can watch trains go by the restaurant. The food is always delicious and plentiful! And the staff were always very courteous polite and professional!

Staff is nice, but can be a bit inattentive at times. Ice cream is fantastic but a burger can't be prepared properly. After ordering a burger well done it comes out with dripping in fat and grease pooling on my plate. After sending it back I got one exactly the same way and was told it was the best that could be done.

I can order a burger well done at McDonald's and not have this issue. Why can't a nice restaurant like this do it?

Absolute Jem! Wonderful homemade food, large booths, open late, and mouthwatering creamery ice cream parlour. We loved it so much we went back again 2 days later!
